Raising Funds for the
The Board
of the PDS has announced its intention to raise funds to support the three
awards bestowed by the Society: the Sidhu Award, the Chung Soo Yoo Award, and the George Jeffrey Award. Details on eligibility and criteria for the
awards are on this website. Friends and
members of the PDS will be receiving a letter sometime in the coming weeks
asking them to donate generously to the award(s) of their choosing. The fund raising drive is being coordinated
by PDS lifetime member George DeTitta, a Pitt
Crystallography alumnus. George can be

don’t get a letter asking for your support, that doesn’t
mean we don’t want it! Please send your

Make your
check out to the Pittsburgh Diffraction Society and specify which of the awards
you want to support. In return Joan will
send you a PDS contact questionnaire so we can keep better track of all of our
friends and members.
